Evolution & History of the Sterling Municipal {Symphony}Band to 2018

anniversary since becoming a municipal band (The History of the band goes back farther than that - check out the History page). It was a great summer filled with several guest conductors and soloists. Jon & Cathy James worked diligently to bring quality music and entertainment to Sterling. Countless pieces of new literature were performed by the band over the years and the listing of quality guests is impressive by any musician's standards. Under this leadership, the band even performed with dancers and a magician, and participated in the National Community Band John Philip Sousa Festival, in addition to traveling to Naperville three times by request to perform. We had a blast with our musical family!
